MotionHub Preview

I’m currently working on a custom app to generate custom live visuals for my musical performances - MotionHub. This has been an adventure into digging into Claude Code and AI. While I am not a fan of what AI is doing to music itself in the form of generation of slop music, I do appreciate it’s value of putting things like writing code and building apps in the hands of artists. I don’t think I would ever be in the position to learn the multitude of coding languages to build this app or pay someone to do it because of the complexity and time it would take.

In just a few weeks I’ve made a minimum viable product for my own desktop app and Ableton Max for Live device . For now, this is a personal project meant to be an extension of my music. I’ll post some preview performances soon. Right now I have the GUI built and the main functionality. I’m currently working on the quality of the visuals and getting them to a place that is closer to my vision. More to come!
